About E-Learning

E-learning is one of the fastest growing areas in education and training delivery as it provides a mobile and flexible approach to study, tailored specifically to an individual. If you are time poor, do not function well in a classroom setting, prefer to study in your own environment or travel on a regular basis then e-learning is a delivery option that is well suited to your circumstances.

Studying this way provides real time access to your training program when you need it and at a time which fits your schedule. You are guaranteed to be given a customised and consistent training package and access to a professional industry skilled trainer when you need their assistance. E-learning provides a rich learning experience combining multimedia and instructional design and an added benefit of studying this way is you can experiment and test what works for you.

Once you decide and enrol, you will receive an e-learning information pack containing your student Logon and Password, a link to our e-learning portal and a User Guide to step you through the system. The system is fully automated and you will receive welcome messages via email or text and notifications for milestone events like the allocation of your trainer, submission and marking of materials. The system contains a built in messaging tool to remain in constant contact with your trainer and to send and receive messages including feedback.

E-learning is not for everybody so we like you to test the system initially and when you call and express an interest in studying this way, one of our staff will give you access to our ‘Demonstration’ log in so you can have a look around and get a feel for e-learning.

One of the strong points of e-learning is you can study at your leisure, meaning you set the pace. We recommend you try and set regular times or a set number of hours per day or week to keep on track given you are your own motivator.

As a guide, for Diploma level courses most people complete in between 6-12 months but this can vary and for Certficate III and IV level study between 3-6 months.

Trainers will monitor your progress and will be in contact to keep you motivated with your study.
